The first WWE 2K22 DLC pack will launch on Tuesday, April 26 in the form of the Banzai Pack. The Banzai Pack is themed after Yokozuna, a multi-time WWE Champion and Hall of Famer. In the lead-up to the Banzai Pack DLC release, 2K Sports unveiled a screenshot of Yokozuna in WWE 2K22, and now it’s pulled the curtain back on two of the other wrestlers that are coming in the pack.

Yokozuna is being joined by four other wrestlers when the Banzai Pack releases for WWE 2K22 on April 26. This includes his cousin Umaga, who was also known in WWE under the ring name Jamal. While he found some success as Jamal, Umaga’s career really took off when he started using the Umaga gimmick, battling John Cena in a high profile feud and competing in a blockbuster WrestleMania match against Bobby Lashley that also involved the likes of Donald Trump and Vince McMahon.
Umaga isn’t Yokozuna’s only cousin that’s coming to WWE 2K22 as part of the Banzai Pack DLC. Rikishi is also making his way to the game on April 26 in his classic “Too Cool” attire. While Rikishi never held the WWE Championship, he was featured in main event WWE storylines, like when he was infamously revealed as the person who ran over “Stone Cold” Steve Austin with a car.
Yokozuna, Umaga, and Rikishi are just three of the five wrestlers that are coming to WWE 2K22 through the Banzai Pack DLC. They will be joined by Omos, a relative newcomer to WWE who is currently feuding with Bobby Lashley, and Kacy Catanzaro, who appeared on American Ninja Warrior and currently performs on WWE’s NXT brand. It’s possible that screenshots of them will be shown in the coming days, as there’s still some time to go before the Banzai Pack launches.
After the Banzai Pack launches on April 26, there’s still more WWE 2K22 DLC packs for fans to look forward to. May 17 will see the release of the Most Wanted Pack, while the Stand Back Pack launches June 7. The Clowning Around Pack releases June 28, and finally, the Whole Dam Pack is scheduled to launch on July 19.
WWE 2K22 is out now for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X.
