While this year’s WrestleMania looks like a stacked affair already, 15 years ago today WWE presented WrestleMania 22 live from Chicago, Illinois. The show was main evented by John Cena and Triple H for the WWE Championship over on RAW, and Rey Mysterio, Kurt Angle, and Randy Orton for the World Heavyweight Championship over on SmackDown. WrestleMania 22 showcased some of the best WWE matches of all time and included some impressive talent, so 15 years on, how many of these stars remain contracted to WWE?...

WWE 2K22 has showcased superstar entrance animations and moves on its social media, but little else. The animations of how a superstar moves about aren’t telling for how much the game engine has been improved, but hopefully this means fewer bugs and faster load times. Whether WWE 2K22 will live up to its hype remains to be seen for now, but one thing fans are curious about is what the roster will look like....

As usual, the WWE 2K22 roster will feature some legends alongside the modern day superstars, with 2K Sports releasing a new trailer that focuses on four legends in particular, as well as their associated ratings. As revealed by the latest WWE 2K22 trailer, the game’s roster will include Big Boss Man (seen in his original attire as opposed to what he wore during the Attitude Era), Booker T, Chyna, and “Macho Man” Randy Savage....

This is according to a report by SportsGamersOnline, citing “sources” that have said that WWE 2K22 General Manager mode is a “top priority” for the team at Visual Concepts. If SGO’s sources are to be believed, WWE 2K22’s General Manager mode is going to be one of the most popular modes in the entire game, with one source going as far as to claim that the mode will be what sells people on WWE 2K22....

Following the success of WWE 2K22, the follow-up game will need to be leaps and bounds better to show players that it was not a one-off fluke. There were a few issues plaguing MyGM Mode, so all attention now turns to WWE 2K23 to see if it is able to fix them, and maybe even add some new features to make it a more viable game mode. From budget issues to matchup issues, WWE 2K23 could be a make-or-break scenario, as the game has a lot of things it needs to work on to make MyGM Mode as enjoyable as possible without leaving fans frustrated....
